In the post today the new edition of the Journal of the Greater London Industrial Archaeology Society - nothing about Greenwich but two articles about areas just across the river: Kemball Bishop who made culinary chemicals at Three Mills Lane (near Tesco on the Motorway approach) and The New Lea Valley Distillery Company (in much the same area).
The work of putting the journal was almost entirely due to Fiona Morton and she should be congratulated.
Also the latest GLIAS Newsletter. Again nothing much about Greenwich but something on the back page has caught my eye. This is the Royal Parks Historic Guild Collection - which undertakes historic research into the Royal Parks - including I presume Greenwich Park. Info from secretary@glias.org.uk
